Re: Disc Golf
I picked up udisc for the iPhone. It cost $1.99, so I figured it was worth a try.
The best feature is the fact that you can track your throwing distance for each of our discs....which really told me how poor my form is.

Re: Disc Golf
Awesome. I had a meeting with the public and parks and rec tonight about putting in another course. We may have actually come to a plausible solution. I have played all of 3 rounds in the last month, my bag has dust on it at this point. Where do you play at?Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:Welcome to the boardFishy wrote:my first post. I live in lynchburg va, and so far I've played all but 1 round at peaks view park, and I've played a round in Bedford va at falling creek parkFishy wrote:Awesome. Good, cause I really don't want my reputation to have anything to do with hers. And I'm not sure of her user name.. nor do I want to ask. I came for the disc golf talk.E.H. Re: Disc Golf
My favorite course in Massachusetts is Borderland State Park http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=1033
It's a pretty long course and has decent amount of diversity between holes.
Then there's Devens which is a shorter par 3 course but situated around a big hill so there's a lot of elevation changes. The fairways here aren't as deliberately placed so a lot of the shots are trickier with the trees. http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=1186
