Amazing.
I predict:
Peter Dinklage vs. Woody Harrelson @ Emmy/Golden Globe awards, that would be very tough

Even though I knew the Oberyn/Tyrion scene was coming, it still gave me chills.

I haven't read the books and I too knew it was coming (I blame myself). It's good that this show works so well even when you know what's going to happen next.Simple Torture wrote:Even though I knew the Oberyn/Tyrion scene was coming, it still gave me chills.

I was gunning for Mountain vs. Cersei's daughter.
Cersei would have had to instruct Mountain to fall on his sword.
Oberyn is a good alternative.

I would never have too much faith in knowing what happens on this show. Ned Stark and the Red Wedding both caught me off guard

Yes, that Ned scene still disturbs me.
I only started reading the books after season 1, so i wasn't ready for that.
He was the main character, our hero....they couldn't kill him, i was expecting til the last second for some heroic intervention.

Doesn't matter really (thanks for adding the spoiler though). The implication that you are aware of what happens now has me anticipating a certain outcome.
