It’s good to be an R.E.M. fan this week. In addition to the release of their 1991 and 2001 MTV Unplugged sets, and 50 rarities from their I.R.S. Records era, the band has let loose a whopping 131-track collection of B-sides, covers, live tracks, and non-album goodies. As the material’s culled from R.E.M.’s time at Warner Bros., the anthology’s aptly titled Complete Rarities: Warner Bros. 1988-2011.

what's really fucked up about this in a good way is that I own most of those rarities on both sets....still, there's enough there to take another bite.
yeah. I've got an amazon gift certificate i'm not using, so I'll probably buy this unless it shows up on a torrent site. I'd purchase a hard copy in a second, even though I would immediately just convert them to digital files. It's the principle of the thing.

It seems I'm a bit higher on Reveal than anyone else. It's right up there with Up if you ask me. The only songs I would skip are Disappear, Summer Turns to High, and Chorus and the Ring. Everything else I take pleasure in.
