If you've got Amazon Prime, remember that a ton of HBO shows/miniseries got added to streaming video today: The Wire, The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, etc...

Finally starting Deadwood today!

Soon, you will develop a strange mancrush on Al Swearengen.

Unless you are a woman, in which case it will simply be a standard crush.

Parts I & II of Frontline's recent special about the Patriot Act and Snowden. Pretty creepy stuff.

Yeah?

I was worried. I was lukewarm on Season One anyway.

Anyone else watching John Oliver's new HBO show? It started out feeling like The Daily Show's Weekend Update with no bleeps but it's coming into it's own now. It's current events but less directly political. I like what it's done so far; this week's FIFA bit being a good example or a couple weeks ago when instead of having Bill Nye take on a climate change denier they brought out 97 other "scientists" to fill the stage to show the proportion of science that says climate change is real.

The Net Neutrality or Mitch McConnell penis bits are my favorite so far. It is nice to have a few laughs after Game of Thrones.
