Book a flight to Milwaukee, Platy. I'm going to send you on a ride along with a couple black deputies, and send you into the projects. We'll see what kind of experiences you'll come out with.

It sounds tempting; I'm sure I'd develop unique insights into the mind of the Black Man (Homo Negrus), as well as a pathological fear of hoodies. Mostly I don't wanna hang out in fucking Milwaukee, though.

Harry Lime, you are easily the worst thing about RM, which is definitely saying a lot.
This doesn't have to fucking do with the problems "within the black community." This doesn't have to do with "black on white violence." It has to do with you finding reasons to justify your prejudices. It has to do with you putting entire people into a single group that based on physical traits as opposed to behavioral traits and judging them all accordingly. You've made it very clear that you have no desire to overcome that. That makes you a racist. There's really no two ways about it. I don't care if Mark Cuban thinks it's ok, and I don't care if Stephen A. Smith thinks it's ok. It's racist. Just fucking accept that you're a racist. Everyone else here has.

Skitch, since you said that you basically agree with Cuban, and you have the reason and mindset to look beyond his hoodie description, and see the bigger picture, can you please indulge us as to the reasons why you agree with him?
If you refuse, I'll understand. You'll be entering the lions den. But show some courage, eh?

You guys have really leapt to some pretty dramatic conclusions about Harry Lime in the last few pages of this thread. I find it pretty hilarious that RM jumps all over him at the drop of a hat, yet lets Harmless and other "veteran" RMers spew nonsense for days before calling them out.

There is some validity to the notion that we all have our prejudices. We do. A hoodie is not enough to raise an antennae as Stephen A. Smith said. In an area known for violence specifically, mostly gang or race related, sure, you need to pay more attention. However that does not in anyway excuse the comparison he made (hoodie VS. tattooed on the face bald biker), or the reference he drew from. Although I don't thing his allusion to Trayvon was intentional, it was obviously poorly thought out.
