Best Decade Tournament - 60s: DcT wins!

Post by stip »

This will be a best decade tournament--6 tournaments in one. We will have a tournament for the 60s, 70, 80s, 90s, and 2000s (2000-2009). The top two teams of each decade will face each other in the final tournament.

Each team for each decade will draft 10 songs in the traditional snake style. You cannot draft multiple songs from the same artist/group, but you can take songs from the same artist across multiple projects (so Eric Clapton solo and Cream mould be fine)

8 hour time limits on weekends. 6 on weekdays. To keep things moving every time your turn is skipped (after the first) one hour comes off your time limit.

One team per decade but you can participate in as many decades as you want

How many band tournaments have there been? The winning teams of all those tournaments should compete in a tournament of champions.

Didn't we mention this on the old board when we were actually doing the Decade Tourneys?

I was involved in the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s... so should this proceed, I'd have to be a part of this one as well.

I don't fully understand what's happening, but sign me up! I want to participate in the whole thing. All the decades. A team in each decade or whatever.

All in, thanks.

I'm giving the 60s a pass to recharge and avoid having to take a beatles song. I'm in for the rest.

If we're redrafting all of the decades, I'm out.

this is just for the 60s. it's going to be a bunch of different tournaments, but then when all is done there would be a winners vote (so the best team from the 60s tournament, etc). be in whichever ones you want.

This is pointless, whoever has A Day in the Life automatically wins. Next.
