I'm okay with the Waiters pick and with Bennett who I won't give up on after one year (as brutal as it was), but it's the Thompson pick I hated the most, at the time and now. I'd rather have Valanciunas.Monkey_Driven wrote:True. Bennett could still turn out to be a decent pro, but they've whiffed on a number of picks in the past few years. I worry about Irving too as a "superstar" type player.Joesanity wrote:There was no right player last time.Monkey_Driven wrote:God damnit Cavs. Maybe you'll actually choose the right player this time around.

Haha. Gregg Drago.
OKC is such a shitty corner of the world.
I am no Spurs fan, but, go Spurs.

Also. I just can't see anything about the Heat without thinking of one of these things.

Two great wins in a row. The Heat have been dominant over the last 6 1/2 quarters, and that's really good to see. They're giving me some confidence I was lacking this time last week as they hopefully continue to head into the Finals.

The Heat have looked pretty damn good these last two games. I wish the Pacers played to their potential more often. Watching their offense is just painful.

Lol @ Lance.
I love that Miami finally shut out Hibbert. I mean, everybody else has been doing it, it's about team the Heat were able to pull it off. Gotta love Hibbert blaming the game plan for his performance.

This thread is so quiet.
I think the Spurs will still win this series but it really is amazing how much Ibaka appears to spook them. I'm expecting a Spurs blowout win in Game 5, but here's to hoping that series goes 7.
I have no idea what to expect tonight with the Heat/Pacers. I could see the Pacers rolling over and I can also see them playing like crazy people and blowing Miami out. I'm 95% certain the Heat will still win this series and I'm sticking with my HEAT IN FIVE declaration, but I'm definitely trying to mentally prepare for a Heat loss tonight.

The lack of close games will do that.4/5 wrote:This thread is so quiet.

The whole Ibaka ordeal really proves how important he is to that team and how valuable a 4 or a 5 that can defend the paint and close out on long range shots is.

What an incredible 4th quarter. I thought for sure Bosh's 3 was going down there at the end. Paul George, wow.

I went to bed midway through the 3rd quarter I couldn't take the Pacers offense anymore. They seem to play better when I don't watch I must be the cosmic link.

Golf clap for PG, though. He was incredible in the second half and 4th quarter. I'm guessing he was pretty glad he didn't have to cover LeBron all game.

Are people really questioning Lebron for passing out of that drive to Bosh?

That last play was perfect, the shot just didn't drop. LBJ got past PG pretty easily and Hibbert came for help and LBJ hit Bosh in the corner where he shoots 3s best.

It is the usual talk radio/talking heads chatter. Have to have something to talk about. It is not like it was a super entertaining game or anything.4/5 wrote:Are people questioning him or is it just Skip Bayless?Monkey_Driven wrote:Are people really questioning Lebron for passing out of that drive to Bosh?
