Henry Lee Summer.

After a Pacers game in like 1987 (can't remember exactly). My parents took me to the game. I danced on the court during the concert.

September 28, 1996: Pearl Jam/Ben Harper/The Fastbacks at Randall's Island in NYC. The show when it poured. Also coincides with the day I became a Ben Harper fan (after his set), and proclaimed Pearl Jam the greatest band for all times (after their set). Might have been the shorter of the two shows, but there seemed to be a ton of energy and of course the John Popper solo during Even Flow.

First ever- Fall of 1980 Little River Band - Cool Changes tour- went with my mom, it was at the Schnitz in Portland. I loved it.

First on my own- Prince 2/14/85 Purple Rain tour at the Tacoma Dome... on Valentine's day, roses rained from the ceiling at the end of the show- I thought it was amazing. Seats weren't too bad, either- equal to 10C wing seats.

I think I've mentioned it before, but my dad took my to see the original KISS lineup in Providence, when I was 6. The next day I got hit by a car while riding my bike. My ears were still ringing and I crossed right in front of an old lady because I didn't hear her coming. I shoulda sued Gene Simmons.

That's funny, because my stepson's first concert was Styx after a Braves game a couple of years ago.

That's awesome. My first show with parents was at the Oakdale (see post above) and the first unchaperoned with friends was at the New Haven Coliseum
