Must decide on the St. Paul show!
25 year old strat wouldnt think twice. 33 year old strat thinks 2 shows might be 2 too many.

You have to do the St. Paul show. Wait until 36 year old strat, with kids, has to make that decision. Do it while you can!Strat wrote:Must decide on the St. Paul show!

I read through the Pit. Disappointing. I do enjoy the spouse account and children accounts conspiracy theories.

Sure enough, I got front row for Alpine in 1998. At least they gave a shit about people being shut out back then.

im probably good, but ill let you know. we had planned on doing one reserved and 1 ga show but i think we will be good with both shows in the pit, just just surprised that what i thought was everyone having conspiracies seems to have actually been trueAndySlash wrote:hey, if you really had your heart set on lincoln reserved we can trade!Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:well then, that definitely makes it seem like i was wrong and everyone else was right yesterday

But seriously bro, they would cut down on scalpers (who hold what is likely 100s-1000s of accounts) a great deal if they didn't let you leave venue once you had your tickets. i.e., you get into a queue for fan clubbers, you are checked off on a list and go to the ticketing station inside the venue and get your tickets, you must then scan your tickets and enter the venue proper immediately, and leaving voids the tickets.

Re: 2014 Tour Rumours
Agree wholeheartedly on two points that have been made:
1. If you pick up 10C tix, you have to go straight into the venue with your +1
2. Yes, seniority didn't help you get tickets in the past, but maybe it's time that it did.
I've been making the broker argument since they started in this direction with the rows 1,2,9,10 lotteries, but I understood it because of the lack of energy in the front. They've increased the benefits to brokers with the lottery, as all they have to do is click a button and have a chance at tickets they will flip. Then people want a hometown priority??? Imagine competing with Gold Coast for tickets but since they have numerous accounts, they get to leapfrog you in terms of priority.
15+ year members getting totally shut out seems unfair. I did ok in the lottery, but I am preparing myself for future tours where I will get shut out.

I never heard about the scalper / broker issue until this week. Is this actually a problem? A few pairs for sale has always happened.

Re: 2014 Tour Rumours
Anyone know if Us Bank Arena in Cincinnati does General Admission seating? Reading conflicting reports, one says no bc GA is banned since the Who incident back in the day.
Also I am trying to buy tickets for me and 7 friends, anyone have any insight/past experiences to buying this many tickets at once? Is it even possible. Def don't want 8 nosebleed tickets, is 8 GA possible if I am on right at 10am?
Thanks so much in advance.

I know the two shows I will go to have a limit of 4 seats per purchase. You may have to split up the group.abikis2 wrote:Anyone know if Us Bank Arena in Cincinnati does General Admission seating? Reading conflicting reports, one says no bc GA is banned since the Who incident back in the day.
