No I didn't say that.

But I do want to see Philip Seymour Hoffman's last performance

So Godzilla was a little underwhelming. They made a mistake
Spoiler: show
killing off Cranston
After that, I found little to root for. And Godzilla didn't kick enough ass. And it all ended a bit abruptly. I did do a little internal cheer when
Spoiler: show
that motherfucker spat out some blue CGI
though.

Haha, that seems to be the general feeling; I seem largely alone in my enthusiasm. If anyone wants to know the depth of my love for this movie (and why I love it so much), check out the comments section here:http://filmcolossus.com/godzilla/#analysis. Me and the author of the review debate the movie over the course of literally thousands of words.

I still enjoyed it more than any X-Men film I've seen. They lost me at Halle Berry.

As a huge fan of original Godzilla movies, I was really let down with the Matthew Broderick version. No way I'll be that let down with this one. Was supposed to see it Wednesday, but that fell through so we are seeing it Saturday.

Narco Cultura. Brutal. Pretty crazy to think that my Dad and I would walk the streets of Juárez fairly regularly when I was a kid.

I'm gonna go see it with an open mind, don't get me wrong, but I'm very very worried.
