I still can't remember if you're the one who draws.VinylGuy wrote:So they were loud! imagine a 6 years old kid after a My Bloody Valentine concert..Self wrote:I think I've mentioned it before, but my dad took my to see the original KISS lineup in Providence, when I was 6. The next day I got hit by a car while riding my bike. My ears were still ringing and I crossed right in front of an old lady because I didn't hear her coming. I shoulda sued Gene Simmons.

Re: Your first concert

I still can't believe this lineup, both for its overall cromulence and the placement of Radiohead THIRD on the bill while they were touring behind OK Computer. The show took place in a town of about 2,000 a half-hour southeast of Portland.
Those were strange times. And the first time I ever heard "Paranoid Android" was live, at sunset. Good times.

With my family:
1986 Beach Boys with Roy Orbison (opening act) at the Montreal Forum
With friends:
1992 Metallica, Guns n Roses, Faith no more.
This was the one at the Montreal Olympic Stadium where people rioted when Axl left the stage after only playing like 5 songs.

This is deeply embarrassing, but my first rock concert was Silverchair in 1996.

Nothing to be embarrassed about. Silverchair has done some great stuff. It's too bad most people only remember Frogstomp, well, at least in the U.S. They have shown a lot of growth over the years and his voice is beautiful.Birds in Hell wrote:This is deeply embarrassing, but my first rock concert was Silverchair in 1996.
