I don't think Parker is going to show many signs of being injured. He's had almost an entire week to rest and will have another two days off after Game 1.

Parker always has something and he's usually really good, anyway. I'm going into this series assuming that he's going to be Tony Parker.

What is your typical Finals watching routine, 4/5?

Ankle injuries are generally pretty devastating for play-making PGs. Making quick cuts is about 90% of his game. We'll be able to tell pretty quickly how badly he's injured.

In 2011 I went out for almost every game. Since then I've only gone out for like one or two playoff games these past three postseasons. I don't drink, or if I do I'll only have like one beer. I probably take these games way too seriously, lol, but I like to be fully in control of all my faculties watching these games. I'm going to do my best to stay busy between now and 9:00 so that I don't drive myself crazy watching pregame stuff. Strangely, while I do my best to avoid all pregame stuff I generally will sit there for the next hour watching postgame stuff, win or lose. It's like I'm trying to torture myself, but it's probably really that I'm too "up" either way to even think of going to bed.

I am trying to recreate last year a little bit. I have a good friend who lives in Atlanta now and he was down for games 5-7 last year, so this year I told him if he could get down here he had a free ticket to game 3, so now we get to watch games 2-3 together, so that should be awesome.

I can't wait for this to get going.

Sounds pretty similar to my routine when Mizzou plays a big game. Usually watch it at home or I'm at the game. Very few or no drinks at all. Watching with a good friend is always a plus.

I know they erased a nine-point deficit, but you've got to think Miami should be up by more than four going into the fourth after forcing nine turnovers in the third. They had a chance to put some serious distance between them and the Spurs right there. That could come back to cost them.

This game is shaping up for an amazing finish. It feels more like game eight than game one.

See how Ray Allen when trying to save the ball out of bounds threw it out of bounds when he couldn't find a teammate rather than throw it to the other team for a fast break? If I was Pop I'd make my guys watch that over and over for an hour.
