My understanding about 12 strings was that the 3 lowest sounding strings, each have 1 string normal and 1 string an octave higher, and that for the 3 highest sounding strings, each have 2 strings normal.
However, on the d-shaped chord it sounds as though the g string has a string an octave higher.
Have I been told wrong, and that on a 12 string all 6 strings have a string an octave higher?
Cheers for any help.
Can any 12 string experts explain Tomorrow by James to me?

So basically, Johnson and May spent Trump's presidency fighting each other over how best to sell the NHS to Trump.

I was always under the impression that only the E & B strings were the same, and that the other four were all an octave higher.
