It was pretty awesome, I'll be honest, I remember nothing from Cantrell's set other than the fact that he was there. Metallica was good though.

im sure they were using the same stage in 98 that i saw them use it 97 that took up the whole arena floor, pretty damn ridiculous to see but it was cool as shit. also at the show in 97 they did the thing where supposedly the stage or something caught on fire, a crew member did as well and they came back out for the encore acting like the whole PA system was blown out so they started playing with a few small amps, it was a pretty cool production. did your show have similar theatrics ?

My first was....I don't remember the year. '88 probably. It was a triple bill at Lake Compounds. Extreme, Cinderella and David Lee Roth. David Lee came out on a giant mechanical banana.

Lake Compounce wow... nice when there were more venues in this state. Triple bill I saw there: BulletBoys, Slaughter and Poison.

Don't know what the best concert I ever saw was. Guess there's different categories like stadium, arena, club. Never really ranked em. Know what my top 10 pj shows were. I think.
