anyone with watch dogs on ps4- is it necessary to do the uplay thing when you start up the game? i've played the game a few times skipping this step, but am curious if i will be forced to later on to complete the game. is there a point to the uplay other than seeming to be the way to participate in multiplayer? i couldn't care less about online multiplayer so if i don't have to sign up/login to uplay i would prefer not to.

The multiplayer is awesome, you should definitely sign up.

A little disgusted with the Zelda interview I read. To summarize, "a less linear main quest with the ability to play dungeons out of order and explore the expansive overworld." Isn't this the exact fucking thing Nintendo stated with TP and SS? While it was possible to find and begin dungeons out of order in a few of the early Zeldas (LoZ and LA come to mind), was it ever possible to complete a dungeon out of order? I know with LA you could get so stuck, you would need to start from scratch. I love the Zelda franchise more than any other, but just state you plan on sticking to the tried and true adventure formula that you do so well. A real Zelda will never be an open-world sandbox game.

Was there any more news on Hyrule Warriors? They'd be smart to release this for the holidays. A "fake" Zelda will still sell better than almost anything.

Edit: Hyrule Warriors has a release date of September 26.

A little disgusted with the Zelda interview I read. To summarize, "a less linear main quest with the ability to play dungeons out of order and explore the expansive overworld." Isn't this the exact fucking thing Nintendo stated with TP and SS? While it was possible to find and begin dungeons out of order in a few of the early Zeldas (LoZ and LA come to mind), was it ever possible to complete a dungeon out of order? I know with LA you could get so stuck, you would need to start from scratch. I think they'll take the approach they did with Link Between Worlds. You could do any dungeon in any order (after a certain point in the game) because you could buy and/or rent items at any time. It actually worked out really well. I'm kind of assuming they'll just take this system and put in a full, open 3d world.

The multiplayer is awesome, you should definitely sign up.

again, it's not really my thing. i'm a casual gamer with a slow learning curve, and get easily frustrated in multiplayer games. i'm "that guy", repeatedly running into walls and shooting my own teammates, and i get pissed when i can't accomplish simple tasks and other guys are sniping me every 10 seconds or so.

so thanks, but no thanks. it's best i leave it alone.

Zelda will change that and I predict it is the only Wii U game I will buy. Hoping to get a good cheap used console by then.

I really wish they would just get out of the console biz and license the big franchise games out to the better machines.
