i like Spieth, but i don't want him to win. need to put in some dues on tour before winning the Open.

Re: Doug and Lenny's all things golf
Finally played my first round keeping my own score last weekend and did some good stuff and some bad stuff. Finished the front 9 with a 49 while taking an 8 on the par 4 9th hole, then really struggled on most of the back 9, worst part was a 9 on the par 4 15th but finished well on the last 2 holes for a 51 to finish with a 100. the driver is my biggest struggle right now, ill hit a perfect drive on one hole then be all over the place on the next 5. Im really liking the rocketballz irons though, they hit really well and I've just about got the hang of the distances Im getting out of them.

are you finding that you hit irons further with the taylormades? They always have a stronger loft than the normDr. Van Nostrand wrote:Finally played my first round keeping my own score last weekend and did some good stuff and some bad stuff. I do hit them further but Im pretty sure on these its because the loft is lower then normal so its like Im playing a half a club longer.doug rr wrote:are you finding that you hit irons further with the taylormades? Hitting my Irons shockingly on a Saturday, have a practice hit and nail 98%. Mentally I am inept at golf

Pretty much my story too. I'm playing in a 3 man scramble this weekend. They may only take my putts.Clint72 wrote:Hitting my Irons shockingly on a Saturday, have a practice hit and nail 98%. Mentally I am inept at golf

Played 9 with my dad for his birthday. First time out this year. He won, 43 to my 55.
My favorite part was the pissbreak on hole 6. I love that you can pee in the field of play.
