I was disappointed about Yellow Moon as well. That was the one new song I really wanted more than everything else. Hopefully we'll get to hear it soon.

I'm only doing Werchter next. Next tour definitely.
Is 2006 really the last time? Wow. I saw Hinny and was surprised 2007 already was the last time we met as well. I need to work more on my socializing skills.

According to the stat tracker we only need to hear this one and Infallible and Future Days to complete Lightning Bolt live. Not bad for just two shows in on this tour.Angus wrote:I'm only doing Werchter next. Next tour definitely. Is 2006 really the last time? Wow. Warning: Ed's intro to the song is the most listenable bit of this video...
Hot Damn. So, thats what pearl jam sounds like when they rehearse? Sounded great to me. I love that song.

Except for the insanely ridiculous pronunciation of "situation," sounds pretty good

I dunno if it's 'cuz you bastards have made a cynic out of me, but I enjoyed these less than my 2009 shows. The first night was very rough around the edges and they only played one No Code track (but hey, they made room for 3 or 4 covers). There were some great moments, though. That Evacuation almost fooled me into thinking it's a decent song.
Getaway sounds AWFUL. Sleeping By Myself was a highlight. Also, the way the crowd reacted to Sirens (a similar response to Black/Jeremy), I think it's in for heavy rotation for the foreseeable.
PS: I like Sirens. Screw you.

That sweet blue number? That's been my dream guitar since watching Touring Band 2000 (I think?). I love me an SG.Strat wrote:Sirens is great. Can't wait to hear it live.

I'm sure he whipped out the blue one at some point as well (though my memory is shot). Does anybody know what was going on when the mic cut out for half a song until the tech ran out with a new one? I kept thinking "oh shit, Ed's gonna fire somebody".

It was performed by Pearl Jam circa 2014.E.H. Ruddock wrote:There are a lot of people trashing this show. What the hell happened?

I just listened/watched these two videos, and I'm surprisingly thinking they both sound pretty good. I'll be happy when this tour is over so that the best performances of all the Lightning Bolt tracks can be put together for a definitive LBLive compilation.

I like the song, but the Sirens lyrics make me cringe when I hear them. The grace by which we live our lives... pffff.

Ricky put a curse on the band's equipment. It's true cause I read it on the internet.ABNorman wrote:Does anybody know what was going on when the mic cut out for half a song until the tech ran out with a new one? I kept thinking "oh shit, Ed's gonna fire somebody".

While RM has it's jaded members, all indications are that Night 1 was quite poor.enimmi wrote:cutuphalfdead wrote:It wasE.H. Ruddock wrote:There are a lot of people trashing this show. What the hell happened?performed by Pearl Jam circa 2014attended by jaded Pearl Jam fans.

Geezes. How Deaf is Eddie for him to have to have 10 monitors around him in a circle?
