Re: The Mynabirds
I finally decided to listen this band. And, I'm floored. They're great. I don't adapt to new bands well. But, I'm glad Chud kept pushing them.

I listened to their records this week, and they were pretty outstanding. It's quite a jump between the first and second albums.

It is. An unexpected, brilliant jump. I was blown away the first time I heard Generals.digster wrote:I listened to their records this week, and they were pretty outstanding. It's quite a jump between the first and second albums.

I'm going to get to the bottom of who slapped that Mynabirds sticker on the pole near where the Rice Box truck parks at night.

I don't think that it was you, Pete. I'm pretty close to tweeting Laura Burhenn about it.

Re: The Mynabirds
When she played in Houston, she tweeted a few pics from a "night walk" after the show, and the geography of her photos happens to be pretty darn close to where the Rice Box parks.

Re: The Mynabirds
This Will Be Our Year is one of my all time favorite covers. I just adore the thing. I really hope (though it's slim to none odds) that they do Sunburn someday. That would be so, SO sexy.
