In Stip's defense, I think that pick in the 60s tournament elicited the most vicious reaction in RM tournament history.dsb1218 wrote:All those minority PJ opinions, and that's what makes you gun shy?stip wrote:The reaction to my 10th pick in the 60 s has me gunshy

I could be wrong but I think Sabbath and Stevie Wonder are tied for the most songs taken. That's quite the pair.

If you had told me when we started this thing that the last three songs I've taken would still be available in the late rounds at the end of the tournament, I'd have called you a liar and smacked you in the face with my white glove.

If we get back around to me for the final pick, don't delay on my account. I want to do a little write up for it, but no one will pick it so feel free to take your turns:
1. Bada
2. Dsb1218
3. Lament
4. Stip

I'm eyeing a #10 that is sort of similar for me. Not quite that sentimental and attached. But a song that's a bit different than everything else I've drafted and one that could draw some harsh responses. Still trying to decide how safe I want to play the last pick.Varis wrote:Not a guilty pleasure, no guilt involved, but one of my all time faves that I know won't be highly valued around these parts by most. But everytime I head it, it's just my song.dsb1218 wrote:I'm curious what made it your #10 pick from the beginning. Is it a "guilty pleasure" kind of song? Just something you don't think anyone else will draft, making it safer to sit on it?Varis wrote:My #10 pick has been set in stone since this whole she-bang started, so this pick was really my 'last choice', and man was that hard.
