Given the talk of dating RMers was bought up in the dating thread - I'd like to dedicate my tenth pick to Strat and Lament

Re: Best Decade Tournament - 70s: Round 10 DcT
Okay, my last pick was really hard. There was one sentimental song I want to pick, and about 10 others on my list that deserve to be. And I couldn't figure out which to take.
Then I realized that no one had drafted what may very well be the most important song of the decade, and the one that truly defined all of us. It made sense of where we've been, gave shape to who we are, and showed us what we could someday hope to become. This song is our measure. While perhaps not as important to the history of western civilization as Yakkity Sax it is, nevertheless, a song that transcends time and place, and the one song in this entire draft that people will still be humming around campfires long after the Atlantic Ocean has reclaimed the Eastern Seaboard and the world as we know it has come to an end.
So, without further ado, I proudly present the 10th and final pick of stip's 70s team:

I'm going sentimental with my last pick as well. I'm picking a song that recalls a warm fuzziness from my childhood and I'd have to dedicate it to my grandmother.
