Of The Earth should have been on this record. That right there is a big flaw for me.

Look, I was starting to like you. But it's gone now, you're back to Lament's level.

False, dime. Nobody in their right mind goes online and talks about it over, and over, and over, and over, and...

Yeah, there is some pretty terrible story telling to be found here. Life wasted, wws, gone, come back, unemployable, big wave... Yuck

The mix is the worst thing about this album...the production doesnt help either. Having said that, i love it. The first 4 tracks are great, and even if the last half of the album is a hit or miss, its a very good effort.

It would be better if they had a more sonic approach to the material.

The only songs that are good musically *and* lyrically are "Parachutes" and "Big Wave". The rest of the record ranges from awful all around (Life Wasted, World Wide Suicide, Come Back) to musically very good but lyrically horrible (Unemployable, Inside Job).

I view it not as the end of a "difficult" trilogy, but as the beginning of their "lame" phase.

I think parachutes is one of their great songs. Super love that.

I haven't had the desire to listen to this album in awhile but i certainly did when it came out. Big Wave, parachutes and Unemployable get regular rotation for me to this day. Come back is a guilty pleasure and I get some enjoyment out of LW, WWS, Severed hand, MITS, and Army Reserve.

Gone and Inside Job are brutal and Wasted Reprise is rather pointless.

The album tries too hard.

That being said, its the last album I cared to learn on guitar.
