Devil Dancer is a bit too much for me but Double Trouble is fantastic. I'm gonna look for more today.

I agree. Devil Dancer is not one of Founders better offerings, but when my beer store guys hold something for me, i feel obligated to buy it

Double Trouble (a bottle of which I just consumed) is one of Founders' most underrated beers (if that's possible).

I had a Shiner Bock for the first time today and I really liked it. Caught me by surprise. It reminded me a lot of Genessee Bock which is also surprisingly solid.

I love that stuff. Whole Foods always has that on tap for growlers. I love it when they do.

If any of you ever happen to end up in Wisconsin, I HIGHLY recommend picking up some brews by New Glarus Brewing. They might have some of the best beers I have ever tried.

Gandhi is definitely top notch, NEBCo's single IPA Sea-Hag is also a solid go to.

75 and sunny today and just biked to the farmer's maket for a growler of some fresh, local IPA. I love beer. :heartbeat:

Nothing like sitting next to the pool and putting down a New Glarus Scream IIPA at noon.

Not sure how many of you have heard of this, but it's pretty cool. Sierra Nevada collaborated with 12 different breweries to brew 12 different types of unique beers. Most of the breweries are the big dogs, like Russian River, Bells, Allagash, 3 Floyds, Firestone Walker, and New Glarus to name a few. The 12-packs were released this week. If you find one, pick one up.

stone sits atop my "most overrated breweries" list. i think i've only ever had one stone brew that wasn't mediocre.
I'm pretty much with you outside of the Enjoy By's..Their pale ale is really subpar
I think I'm over the Enjoy By's as well -- this last batch was pretty mediocre (again).

I'm keeping my faith in them for now, but I understand why you guys feel this way. Quality seems to be going down a little. I've been all about the Saison this summer, though, and I love theirs. I've tried as many as I have been able to get here in Connecticut (that aren't too expensive). Lots of good ones - I like the Dogfish Saison, and I had one today from Fort Bragg, NC (North Shore brewing or something) that was really nice and smooth (and strong). Allagash has a nice one. But the Stone Saison has been my favorite beer of this summer.

Finally got to try Racer 5 this past week. Saw a few bottles of Firestone Walker but didn't have a chance to partake.

The Racer 5 was interesting, kind of light. I enjoyed it.
