Re: MLB
Or that they thought they could get Stanton for anything less than their most elite prospects.
Like I said maybe this is how all trade talks go, everyone always starts out by asking for your best pieces, but if it isn't, I wouldn't wanna be an Astros fan with this front office.

Re: MLB
Bullshit on that last part.4:30pm: The Astros have issued the following statement regarding the leaked notes:
“Last month, we were made aware that proprietary information held on Astros’ servers and in Astros’ applications had been illegally obtained. Upon learning of the security breach, we immediately notified MLB security who, in turn, notified the FBI. Since that time, we have been working closely with MLB security and the FBI to the determine the party, or parties, responsible. This information was illegally obtained and published, and we intend to prosecute those involved to the fullest extent.
“It is unfortunate and extremely disappointing that an outside source has illegally obtained confidential information. While it does appear that some of the content released was based on trade conversations, a portion of the material was embellished or completely fabricated.”

They can say that, but knowing the Red Sox farm system, that's pretty much exactly how that would back and forth would have gone if you started it with Bogaerts.cutuphalfdead wrote:Bullshit on that last part.4:30pm: The Astros have issued the following statement regarding the leaked notes:

Saying "some of this is made up" and not specifying what part was made up, gives them plausible deniability on everything.

Re: MLB
The Jays handed three outs to the Brewers in the last couple innings, but the Brewers made the mistake of throwing a hittable pitch to Edwin Encarnacion. You don't throw hittable pitches to Edwin Encarnacion.

Im sure it's fine. Japanese Leagues aren't known to allow guys to throw a trillion pitches or anything.
