Gonna start by saying I'm not a fan of mixes that include different formats (m4a and mp3). Mix maker loses a point right off the bat. Let's listen.

. Its a nice enough song. Makes for a pleasant opener.

. OK, I'm noticing a pattern developing here. Familiarity kills this for me and it got skipped after I typed this line.

Eminem - Loose Yourself

. I love this tune big time and enjoyed it as much today as ever. It breaks the pattern that I thought was going as well. So far a highlight.

Song 6 is

Coolio - Gangsta's Paradise

. Another great tune, flows well from the previous as well. At this point I'm in full gangsta mode (but smiling).

Song 7 is unknown to me. It's not good though. OK, this can finish now... No seriously, fucking stop. Please. I'm beginning to feel a little sick at this point.

. A classic. A welcome relief after that previous tune.

OK. I tend to listen to these mixes to try and find something new and enjoyable to check out, or even to hear stuff that I may already know arranged in a different and enjoyable way. So on both those fronts this mix, for me, fails pretty badly. I'm not actually sure what the mix-maker was going for here, I'm not sure that I care that much either.

As for who it is, eh. I'll put as much effort into my guess as the mix-maker did and not bother.

For me this mix is summed up by the first song. Looking forward to the next mix so we can get back on track.

I haven't read the spoilers but given that summation I can only assume this is a whole mix of yakkity saxes and that I will enjoy it immensley

Al's band, the same guys he's played with for years, are particularly awesome. I'd definitely see him again, some of the most flat-out FUN shows I've ever been to.
