Calvary. Good little film, though the rest of the cast just kind of floats around Gleeson.

The Way, Way Back was fun. But nowhere near as good as promised.

WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER is still brilliant.

I'm sort of off movies lately. Feeling sad. I was excited to see the Bucks take Jabari Parker. But I wish they could have got a nice guy like Nik Stauskas or Doug McDermott.

I had seen the poster advertising this while on honeymoon - thought it looked worth a watch. It was playing in the plane on the way home. I should have used the time watching this to try and get some sleep

Just finished Out of the Furnace. Just more empty, thoughtlessly violent, pseudo-deep modern filmmaking. Total garbage. Appallingly awful performances from a mostly-great cast, too. Scott Cooper doesn't know what he's doing.

Fact: All early 90s movies are drenched in migraine-inducing saturated blue.

Paranoid Park. Love this movie. Way better than Elephant or Last Days, which seemed to get a ton more attention for Van Sant.

How does a movie like Rango get made these days? It's so weird, and the characters so cool. I always assume some dumbass executive got tricked when I see a good Hollywood movie. Its one of my favorites.

I finally watched Frozen not too long ago. The animation is gorgeous but I must be too old for the storyline to make much sense.
