Credit where it's due to LvG for that sub with Tim Krul. However, we'll now have nothing but Manchester United fans bleating about their new found optimism for the coming weeks.

Really want to see a Germany-Argentina final now.

I want the opposite final. I want Netherlands to get their first World Cup, but get fouled to shit by the Brazilians like they did to the Spanish in 2010.

All 4 winning teams killed the tempo of their matches. Germany and Brazil did it by committing fouls and disrupting the flow of the game. Argentina did it by taking 30seconds for every single throw in or corner or foul. And the Netherlands did it by trying to frustrate CRica through playing it across the backline and drawing them out.

Also, the Brazil match had so many fouls. I think I heard over 50 fouls. And the crying foul of 'hunting' Neymar is bullshit. Brazil targeted James and Cuadrado. Every Brazilian midfielder and defender fouled those 2 at least once. Sure Neymar took his share but Brazil dished it out too. The ref really should have clamped down on it early on (as Heathen said earlier on).

I wish Belgium had scored first as it really would have opened the game up. For 30 mins it was really entertaining. I think Benteke was hugely missed.

All four teams are good, even if Brasil havent showed much yet.

Argentina vs Holland is such a good semi....

If you are from Holland. If you are Argentinish then I would think it would not be such an enjoyable experience to watch this semi-final match against Holland in which the Argentine team will lose.

I'll take Argentina vs. Germany. Brazil is done without Neymar and Holland can go suck some cock.

Alright, here goes. All European final is my prediction.

Germany 2-1 Brazil.
Netherlands 1-1 Argentina. Netherlands on penalties.

Ranking from "want" to "do not want":

1. Germany - Argentina.
2. Germany - Netherlands.
3. Brazil - Argentina
4. Brazil - Netherlands

My money is on 4. I don't see Brazil not making it to "their" final, they have been granted total impunity so they'll go all the way now. I'll still secretly hope for an upset.

Winners in order of preference: Argentina, Germany, Netherlands, Brazil.
Winners in order of likelihood: above list in reverse order.

guys, I think Brazil may have been helped just a little by the referees to get to this point no?

The problem is there's just not enough scoring
