I got a couple of those 10th anniversary Buzzz discs....and I'm afraid to throw them, because I don't want to lose one.

And if you lose one, so what? Are you planning on saving them and mounting them in a trophy case for display? It's a disc. Go throw them.

i bought an extra set of discs so i could try to get my buddy into playing, and on our 3rd round he threw one in the water and was freaking out because he lost it, thought i was going to be pissed, it wasnt special to me, i picked up some that i thought would be good for a beginner and the one he lost was 8 bucks, no biggy. BUT ive gotten pretty attached already to the ones im using, so i might be a little disappointed if i lose one of them, but if i can find the same one to replace it then ill be good

You will lose discs, it just happens. But it hurts, especially when it's a disc you've grown attached to. I'd be so upset if I lost my comet, it's one of my originals.

Fortunately, if you right your name and phone number on the back of the disc there is a very strong chance someone will get it back to you.

This is true. Every disc that I have lost (that could be found) has been returned to me because of my info. It's the unwritten disc golfer rule.

One time I called a guy whose disc I found and he told me to keep it because that disc "pissed him off one too many times".

When I sometimes find a disc, I take pics of it and send it to the owner so he knows that the disc is doing well. 8-)
