I haven't heard of this band.Varis wrote:Sniff 'n the Tears - Driver's Seat
That backup singer with the fur collar is hilarious.
Also, legs.

That didn't stop anyone from drafting MJ's songs.

Every song is going to be a Candlebox song in a way.cutuphalfdead wrote:Over/under on how many picks before the first Candlebox song?Heathen wrote:It's already giving me eczemacutuphalfdead wrote:The 90s one is going to be painful to watch.DeLima wrote:This was really fun. Re: Best Decade Tournament - 70s: Delima Wins!
I'm thinking of limiting myself to songs not written by Pearl Jam, REM, U2, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Allice in Chains, Tom Waits, and Tool. But then I wouldn't be able to draft a team of songs written by Pearl Jam, REM, U2, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Allice in Chains, Tom Waits, and Tool. So you can see the bind I'm in.

I once made a 30 disc best of the 90s compilation. There's probably some good stuff on there not by those bands.

I still love that song to this day. I don't think I've ever heard any other song by them.durdencommatyler wrote:Jesus, mick. That's not even the best song on the album.numbers wrote:I can't wait to take Flagpole Sitta in the 90s just to see chuds reaction.

I might be able to avoid Pearl Jam, Nirvana, etc...
But if you think I'm not taking a Tom Waits song, you're fucking dumbity-dumb-dumb-dumbster.

I think I might sit out the 90s, I'll need to give it some thought.
EDIT: Scratch that, I think I can pull something together that I can live with.
