Re: NBA Thread
After this trade, Cavs just cleared themselves $24 mill in cap space. Lebron's max is $20.7........

I'm surprised LeBron is going to tear out Cleveland's heart again. It's pretty mean.

I hope the Cavs are just doing this hoping it convinces LeBron, not that they are doing it because they know something.
C'mon LeBron, you can't go back to Dan Gilbert and make him lots of money again!!!!

Not publicly. He could have his people tell Cleveland behind the scenes there is no way I'm coming back and they move on. He's giving them hope and by extension the fan base hope. If he doesn't go back there now it's going to appear to be The Decision-lite especially if he lets it drag out. As a fan of drama I'm fine with it either way I don't care what he decides to do(I would choose Cleveland over Miami based on roster) but if he strings Cleveland along only to choose someone else that's cold blooded. He's not a idiot he knows fair or unfair that's how it will be seen in Ohio.

Re: NBA Thread
I think that's a bit unfair. What if he didn't/doesn't know, and Cleveland and Miami are his two choices? I don't think he's done anything this time that would give Cleveland fans the right to feel betrayed again.bada wrote:Monkey_Driven wrote:Has he said anything about Cleveland?bada wrote:I'm surprised LeBron is going to tear out Cleveland's heart again. About like the Father of the Prodigal Son. Kill the fatted Calf, and bandage up all those half burned James jerseys.

And be surprised he came back despite their scumbag Donald Sterling-like-mentality owner.

So Ray Allen signing with the Cavs? Not sure signing a 39 year old will convince LeBron to go there.

No one signs in Cleveland.
Either way, I won't miss Jarret Jack. More Dellavedova time!

He didn't do anything wrong the first time either. People are irrational.4/5 wrote:I think that's a bit unfair. What if he didn't/doesn't know, and Cleveland and Miami are his two choices? After Miami won their first title I was over it.
You're talking about a fan base who now adore Jim Thome once again and would cheer Albert Belle if he showed up at an Indians game. A lot of us like to only remember the good times.

I'm still a little pissed with Ray Allen and he made the right choice. I'm irrational too I get it.

I completely understand Cleveland fans being mad in 2010.
