Mike is really good at ripping off/emulating others music. I am really hoping some of the BRMC groove rubs off on him too

I'm sure Mike has heard Jesus and Mary Chain records before.

Ellie woke up this morning and the first thing she said was 'daddy, I'm gonna see my friends!'

A Backspacer quote to start the day is a sign that you need to go back to bed.

From Grantland's look back at True Lies:

"In ’94, however, [Schwarzenegger] would’ve looked like a bloated, ironic prop of a bygone era standing next to the bleeding-heart feminists in Pearl Jam."

Some insightful comments about Chris Cornell from Mike McCready:

"Chris Cornell makes the vocals memorable...and that in itself is a huge art." Mike McCready (Pearl Jam)

Mike has done more promotion for the re-release of Superunknown than any member of PJ has for any of their own re-releases.

There was a live reenactment of several scenes from the video game The Last of Us earlier this week. An additional, unreleased prologue was performed where one character played Future Days on a guitar. I'm not trying to be too spoilery (for those who would like to finish the game but haven't) but the song works extremely well in the context of the game's story.
