saw it yesterday, i thought it was ok for a mainstream movie, specially from an ongoing series like this one...

Caught this on HBO. Still haven't seen the first one. I thought the ape performances were really good. The bad ape and the orangutan looked great but Caesar and his family looked like CGI. Humans were bland. The lead good guy has to be one of the funniest looking leading men I can think of. Maybe I watch too much CW. I'm not quite sure how the apes had those kinds of numbers it's not like they have litters but maybe it was explained in the first one? I'd watch the next one maybe.
