a quick wikipedia search informed me that Mike Einziger has provided strings for Incubus's last two albums (also assisting engineering on the most recent). their most recent album also lists the Anne Marie Orchestra. these aren't rumors, these are just facts.

So it's possible that Mike did the arrangements and AMO did the performance.

This is just speculation.
