I think this tourney after the draft is complete, there should be a 24 hour trading window before voting begins. Each team would still need 10 songs after the trading period though so you could only trade equal numbers of songs.

Interesting idea. I'd like to explore that in future tournaments.

Yeah, he had a few. One artist per decade, I think was one of them that could be interesting. So only one team gets a Beatles or Stones or Pixies tune. Could be interesting. Especially combined with a trade rule.
