I like that the rest of the band has kept his royalties aside should he ever pop up again...

There was a really prevalent theory in the fanbase around the middle of 1999 that Richey had gotten in touch with the other three and let them know he was still alive. It was right after they seemed to shift gears from being all-in on the navel-gazing soundscapes of This is My Truth Tell Me Yours to all of the sudden being all fire-and-brimstone and us-against-everything seemingly overnight.

It was a silly theory, but it made the rounds. There were also quite a few people who thought he was going to reappear with them for the post-midnight set at their massive Manic Millenium show for New Years Eve 1999/2000.

Maybe we can make the songs more valuable....like if we bought & put houses on them somehow?

Back in my day songs just stayed on the album they were released on and tried to win tournaments from there. There was none of this "teaming up" with other songs.

Sorry for the delay guys, just dropping daughter off at school.

What would of been the odds of a Foo Fighters song getting taken before a Nirvana song I wonder?
