That's a strange criterion for your voting... and I'm not a fan, so whatevs.
I don't think voting for any group that includes my favorite band of all-time is really all that strange. I'm just being honest. If someone has the Manics and is up against someone without them, there's probably no way I'll like the non-Manics group better.
reasonable doubt.

I was probably gonna vote for Heathen against 85% of the inevitable Radiohead + Soundgarden + Tool + Tom Waits + REM + Beastie Boys + Jeff Buckley groups anyways, even if he didn't have any Manics songs.

The first team I came up with was one you would have genuinely voted for.

Now I'm intrigued as to what said team consisted of.

But then I changed my mind and decided I would cater to the RM crowd. I'm sorry to disappoint you.

I had such high hopes for you to obliterate the RMiarchy with this tournament.

I hope the extended remix of "I Totally Miss You" by Bad Boys Blue was on it.

That's what I did with my first pick. I didn't even know Country Feedback before this year's REM rank 'em thread.

Should be a Radiohead song next, then a Beasties song (from IC, of course), then the longest Tool song in their catalog. One all about tripping acid and stuff!

Don't think I'll stoop so low as drafting a Tom Waits or Jeff Buckley song, though.

No, I really like REM and the Beastie Boys. Soundgarden and Jeff Buckley both have some songs I like. I've never cared for Tool or Tom Waits. I can't stand Radiohead now, but I loved them in the 90s and still enjoy their three 90s records. I just think when everyone stacks their groups up with the same artists it gets kinda dull.
