If we're being technical, the Elvis Presley version wasn't commercially available until the reissue in like 2008. It was on the advance promo copies sent for review, but was completely removed before the album was commercially released. So in theory he should have to go with the non-Elvis version.

Jar of Flies is a stunningly beautiful album, and just about every song is a classic. But this one was always my favorite. I rarely listen to AiC anymore, but I'll still seek this one out.
