I have to admit, with a few of the guys who are in this thing, I'm actually moderately concerned for the first time that at least one of my selections might be nabbed before I get around to it; I'm not planning on picking it until my seventh choice, so hey, fingers crossed that works out.

Because of something you said on the old board about Garcia's vocals I was under the impression that you didn't like Kyuss. I still asked LMS to post that pick first. Just in case.

I'm not a huge Kyuss devotee but I really like that album.

I can't recall what I said but Garcia's vocals certainly bother me a lot less than they once did. I like his voice just fine.

I've never been able to get into Kyuss; never really digged Garcias voice. Guess I should probably give it another shot.

It's a pretty significant obstacle to overcome.

I saw someone disparagingly refer to Garcia's "brocals" in the comments under the new Homme AV Club article, I thought that was perfect.

It was a bit ambiguous so knowing you had 2 picks I thought I wouldn't take any chance.

I hear it, but I don't get it... Let's say LMS has the same song on his list that I send him for my pick. Well, if he really wants it and sees that I'm picking it, he'll take it. Whereas, if he doesn't see that I want to pick it, he may think it's ok to wait a round or two for it.

This - and a lot of pot - has me thinking I can just go to bed and make my pick whenever I get up tomorrow.
