Top 5 Chain Restaurants

Post by Brainof23 »

Our country is filled with chain restaurants. Some of them are better than others. There are chains for almost every type of food you could want. What are your favorites? Least favorites? Sit down only. No fast food.

Top 5 (Go to Dish)

1. PF Changs (Mongolian Beef)
2. Carrabbas (Lobster and Crab Ravioli)
3. The Melting Pot (Big Night Out)
4. Texas Road House (NY Strip)
5. Chillis (Steak Fajitas)

(Others: Quaker Steak and Lube, The Olive Garden , Joe's Crabshack, The Cheesecake Factory, Outback)

Not in my City

Ruth Criss, Morton's, BD's Mongolian BBQ

No Thank You

1. Applebee's
2. Buffalo Wild Wings
3. Red Robin
4. Bravo!
5. Cracker Barrel
No matter how cold the winter there is a springtime ahead

I would take Bravo! and Buffalo Wild Wings (beer selection reasons only) over any of your top 5.

There's no way Buffalo Wild Wings' beer selection makes up for their lousy food. You could microwave better food.

Well, I guess it depends on whether or not you choose your chain restaurants for the food or the beer. I hardly ever eat at chain restaurants. My wife's family loves Carabba's and I always like it when we go, I just order wine. I'll grab lunch at Panera's if I'm on the road and it's cheap and pretty good. I used to have clients who work across from Buffalo Wild WIngs when it was still in North Buffalo and every time I offered to treat for a happy hour, that's where they wanted to go. That's about all the chain restaurant eating I do. When I'm looking for good beer I head to a gastropub for the best of both worlds.

I didn't either. We have two here in the area. When I read this thread I decided to look it up to see where else they had restaurants, and was surprised to see so many. The local one here has "takeover" nights on their taps, they just recently had a Founders one and also a New Holland one. Hoping for a Victory or Bell's takeover soon.

Wild Wings is truly terrible. You pay for the atmosphere/tvs. They skimp on everything else, especially the food.
