Violet was an audible. It means it don't have space for a James song. But I had violet, a beck song, and a Liz phair song I couldn't fit in and I wanted at least one. And live through this deserves a spot. It is one of the best records of the 90s

I'd have a hard time telling you which song was their best, but all I know is my favorite

'Bite the thorn that pierces skin' is a great opening lyric

Bugs and Kaius, this is a good TW song to start with since it showcases his songwriting chops (and there are few who can match him) while dialing down his tom waitseyness
