Good insights on that video; particularly the tips on how to make those "oners" dynamic and interesting by breaking down a single shot into multiple compositions and angles, so that the oner is itself a mechanism to seamlessly thread these shots together.

It says a lot about the human race that these Transformers movies have made 3 billion dollars. We need to be wiped out.

I've only liked two Kevin Smith movies, but this looks like it could be fun.

Michael Parks is such a wonderful actor. I love that little moment when Justin Long is starting to pass out. He gives a quiet little "hh". I love that.
I'll watch it, 'cause it's Michael Parks torturing Justin Long, but I don't know if it'll be any good.

It hasn't been confirmed one way or the other yet. But I think Michael B. Jordan was/is in talks, and I think there was speculation he would be playing Smith's son.theplatypus wrote:I thought I read that Will Smith wasn't even going to be in ID2?

Johnny Depp and Kevin Smith are to work alongside their own daughters on Smith’s new film Yoga Hosers, an action-adventure movie based around a pair of teen yoga fanatics.
Depp’s daughter Lily-Rose and Smith’s daughter Harley Quinn take the lead roles in the comic book-style film, in which the aforementioned yoga nuts must battle an ancient evil that rises from underground and threatens a planned party. Depp also stars as an ex-cop and man-hunter, Guy Lapointe, who aids the pair in their quest.
Smith, meanwhile, has written the film and will direct it, making it the second in a trilogy of films set in rural Canada. The first, Tusk, premieres at the Toronto film festival in September, and overlaps with Yoga Hosers. Depp again stars as Lapointe, this time helping out a duo whose friend, played by Justin Long, has gone missing after trying to interview a demented seafarer – who intends to turn him into a walrus.
