the last season

Why bother if your season will be that small or is it Netflix's new marketing strategy to get new subscribers by giving semi-popular shows proper endings?
Also, they could be going the route of Sherlock and doing 90 minute or 2 hour shows, and no commercials because it is on Netflix.

Haha. I think my connection is too slow for Netflix. Do Netflix shows ever get released on DVD or Blu Ray?

I'll be watching this weekend, but I'm not expecting much.

I have always liked this show and thought last season was great, but really I'll always feel like it was kind of a wasted opportunity. Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman are great actors and have great chemistry together, but the story/cases never really did much for me.

Hated Holder at the beginning of this show. Character is now one of my faves. Never liked the tangents- Larson family i.e.; just stick with Linden and Holder.

Man, Linden is tough on the eyes. She looks like a drowned corpse most of the time.

The first two episodes were very good. This show works so much better with Holder being a full on wigga cursing and stuff. It's ashame so many people wrote it off because these first two eps got me wanting more.

Just started Season 3 last night - Like makeshift mentioned, at the beginning of Season 1 - hated Holder, but now he's probably my favourite character

The Episode 5 scene with Linden at her birth mom's house was fantastic.

Finished the series tonight. Loved this show, sad to see it go, and got a kick out of the forced references to Seattle-area neighborhoods and totally inaccurate landscape shots.

And if I were participating in that TV character tourney, Holder would be my 3rd round pick. Maybe even 2nd. Guy was awesome.

Good, but not great.
Spoiler: show
I don't really understand why they continued the storyline for Season 3. Seems like a perfect opportunity to move forward a few years and start a completely new story.
I also hated the hint that Linden and Holder got "together" at the end. It seemed really cheap.

4 episodes into the netflix version and I really like it. Directing/photography seems much better than the AMC seasons.
