Mike McCready is all over the Team Gleason facebook feed.

The best part is the caption for the picture that reads "Rand Paul is to the libertarian movement what Pearl Jam is to rock, according to one prominent libertarian."

And then you read the article and that "prominent libertarian" is none other than...former MTV VJ Kennedy.

"Rand Paul is to the libertarian movement what Pearl Jam is to rock, according to one prominent libertarian."

It's true, Rand Paul was interesting to watch early in his career, but would later deliver an endless stream of uninspired karaoke-quality performances in order to promote the sale of his gift cards.

The same way a lot of people think being into Pearl Jam shows the world that they're really serious music fans, people who are into Rand Paul think that it means they're really serious about politics.

Is there a side project thread?

Mike is playing with the Seattle Symphony in a few months. $40 gets you in the door.
