We couldn't agree more, but man, it was impressive to see it live and in person.

The second time seeing them play Beyond the Wheel live.

Impressive!

I saw them in Holmdel last night. I liked the Soundgarden set. I wanted the hits and got the hits - Spoonman, Outshined, Black Hole Sun, Superunknown and Fell On Black Days. I thought Black Hole Sun was a bit wonky, but everything else sounded good. I was surprised how pro-NIN the crowd was. There was no doubt who the headliner was of this coheadlining tour was.

Searching With My Good Eye Closed
Spoonman
Taree
The Day I Tried to Live
Gun
My Wave
Outshined
Jesus Christ Pose
Black Hole Sun
Superunknown
A Thousand Days Before
Fell on Black Days
Rusty Cage
Beyond the Wheel

Yeah, the show Tuesday felt like a NIN show with Soundgarden there as the opening act. I was there mostly for SG, but the place was half empty for their set.

Also, Soundgarden fucking killed it. A Thousand Days Before was awesome, not to mention the classics.

I've been a hater, but soundgarden killed it at jones beach. A soundgarden set is so much different then PJ for sure. It's just dark and loud. Beyond the wheel was intense. Matt Chamberlain was pretty good also.

A Thousand Days Before is my favorite song on the new(ish) album, but I was blown away by how good it was live.

That song jumped straight off that album and into my SG top ten, no questions asked.

Same here. If their next album has another song of that caliber I'll be quite happy.

Oh and that is fucking crazy awesome about the planned free show before the Seahawks opener.
