If you travel a lot, say 10 nights / year, you may want to stick to one hotel brand. Loyalty club perks like free stays, breakfasts, wifi, room upgrades, all start to add up in terms of cost, comfort, and convenience. My October PJ trip runs 8 nights, from the 16th to the 23rd, all of which was paid for in Hilton points I earned via credit card use.

Yes there are always bars open. The city is full of alcoholicsBDB wrote:but both are truly walkable right? Rates around $150/night - little steep for a Monday night in Milwaukee...
Will there be any bars open in that area after the show?

I'm starting to get excited. I hope that old "next to last show of the tour" mumbojumbo holds true.BDB wrote:5 days away....I still think I should be more excited than I am. Maybe b/c its on a Monday.

With the exception of the TV, this room hasn't been updated since 1987 or so.CopperTom wrote:I'm at the Ramada Downtown. $80 a night and 4 blocks away. You can't beat that!BDB wrote:i am debating staying the night. Can any local confirm that the Doubtree is a walkable .5 miles?

It's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."jdopj wrote:Lol. Anyone know if there are there free places to park within walking distance of the arena?

Probably won't be an audience recording of this show, huh? I've got a few friends bugging me for one.
