barrys best scene is with psh in 25th hour when they are looking down on ground zero from barrys apartment. it's 5 minutes of true believability.
in all seriousness i'd love to have a barry pepper movie marathon with you
you and i will never talk a trip around my soul. permission: DENIED

Really? I was looking forward to watching it.

What did everyone here make of Noah? I liked it, but my brother absolutely hated it. I think he only didn't like it because it was based on Christian mythology.

PSH and JP are fantastic, but the story fails to deliver in most ways. Frankly, aside from a few emotional outbursts, it's boring.

I've avoided Noah.

One of my all-time favorite movies, I think Top 10 of the last decade. Perfection all around. I've watched it like 6 times.

Hmm, now I'm not sure whether I should watch it or not.

Which one of you two has the better taste?

Name 6 of your favorite movies and I'll tell you if I think you'll enjoy The Master.

Noah was one of the worst things committed to film. It had no idea what it wanted to be - turned the lead character into a complete ass. It could have been awesome, but missed the mark by a long shot

Yeah, Noah was pretty rubbish. It was kind of like there was a big boat in which an awesome movie was contained, but THIS movie was treading water next to the boat, occasionally trying to climb up the side, but never quite making it.

Oh my. Nearly 18 hours of that. For fucks sake.

Those are 2 of my favorite actors, but it was like watching 2 dogs in heat alternate between fucking and chasing their own tails.

I actually don't watch a lot of movies, I tend to prefer TV for entertainment. Let me see if I can think of 6 movies I really love...

Children of Men
Shawshank Redemtion
L.A. Confidential
The Big Lebowski
Dumb and Dumber
for something more recent - The Grand Budapest Hotel.

That's probably a really bland list of movies.

It's a stunning movie on just about every level. I have absolutely no problem spending 18 hours on something that beautiful.
