Played 9 today and played really well, shot a 47 with 2 triple bogies, so the rest were pars and bogies

Played 18 yesterday. Crappy front nine. Was 2 over on the back heading into 18. Got the dreaded man standing next to another man (2 straight into the water on a par 5; an 11) on 18. This sport is dumb.

It is 72 degrees today and sunny. Usually it is about 103 in mid-July. You better believe I'm skipping out of work early to play some golf.

do any of you guys belong to a golf course? or some sort of golf club? or do you just bounce around and play all over

It is a better deal for my area to just bounce around and play a bunch of different places. Tons of groupons, special deals, and discounted rates ($14-20 to walk 18 after 2 pm on weekdays). I only play about once a week so it just doesn't make sense to be a member somewhere.

I have a membership at a club in Palm Desert. It pretty much pays for itself in the summertime when I head out there..I stick to a few local LA courses throughout the winter

Playing pretty well right now (for me). Shot back to back 40's. Then proceeded to shoot a 45 (with a 10 on one hole).
