How is this even the same show? It has the same creator/writer and it will be called "True Detective", but other than that, it's an entirely different show.
But, whatever. I'm excited!

Pffft. Sounds like a lazy premise.durdencommatyler wrote:That's the premise of the show.Farmer John wrote:How is this even the same show? It has the same creator/writer and it will be called "True Detective", but other than that, it's an entirely different show.

Either that, or a sneaky way to get HBO to give you another show right away.

They should make the third season a half hour comedy.

Re: HBO Television Show: True Detective
Finally finished this show. Two very great characters that Woody and Matt did an incredible job with i thought. I just loved watching them do their thing and interact. The show got pretty dark and creepy but I was a little unfulfilled by the ending.

He was pretty good in "The New World" and after seeing the amazing turnaround from McConaughey in the last year, it's got promise.

Re: HBO Television Show: True Detective
I wonder if that means the Elizabeth Moss casting rumor is true as well. Moss would have to do quite a bit to make it anywhere near what Woody pulled off...VinylGuy wrote:So Vince Vaugh? Really cool and unexpected.
