It's really not Pete. This one is. I made a joke about Texas on a Pj FB group.

Finally saw this. CG orcs aside, I prefer the more fantastic look and setting, the effects are fine. No offense to New Zealand, but I think I've seen enough.

I can't stand the silly roller coastery bullshit. Totally out of place with the tone they are going for. Legolas still sucks. Just send him to kill the Dragon. Shouldn't be much trouble for an invincible god like him.

Otherwise I like these movies a lot more than I expect to.

Extended Edition Blu-ray with 25 extra minutes confirmed for November 4th.

I'm sure nobody else cares, but I've been dying waiting.

the extended editions usually work better for his pacing and storytelling style. I'm excited.

It's rare that someone has the opportunity to announce their upcoming diahrrea to the general public, like this.

i mainly just hated the first hobbit movie. a lot. my experience watching that movie was pretty mcparadigm-esque. haven't seen the second one, and never want to.

The first was about as brutal as it can be really. I think Peter Jacksons approach to the making of the Hobit films is akin to the posting style of chud

that's reasonable. also, chud and the first hobbit movie both feature balls on the chin.
