I almost bought tickets to the upcoming Tim and Eric and Dr. Steve Brule tour, but then I didn't.

It was a fun show & the ampitheater was packed. They sold out and everyone came. Say what you will but KISS has this big, sensory overload thing figured out and they played a sharp, well oiled machine of a set.Biff Pocoroba wrote: While I never really got into them I am going to see KISS for the first time tonight. And I never realized how much Charlie Day sounds like Paul Stanley.

I was going to ask how the show went. Kiss was the first band I ever saw live, so I have a soft spot for them. I saw them again about five years ago and was blown away but what a fun live show they put together. I'm sorry, but if you go to a Kiss concert and don't have an awesome time, you should check to see that you still have a pulse. Pure fun. Total cheese, sure, but a great great time at the rawk show, guaranteed. Just stay away from the merch! Gene Simmons will drain ya!Biff Pocoroba wrote:It was a fun show & the ampitheater was packed. Saw Metallica by Request at Heavy Montreal yesterday night. Amazing show, all-classics setlist, nice summer night weather, an incredibly enthusiastic crowd of over 40,000 and the Montreal skyline just to the left of the stage visible from my vantage point up on the hill. Very fun way to spend a summer night.
