Waterworld is pretty great. I actually really like Costner in general.

While I'm not a Costner fan, I thought the premise of Waterworld was great and Costner certainly was the best thing about that film.

Really fun, well acted...Ron Howard surprised me on those car scenes, they were awesome.
A good surprise.

I feel like that movie was in theatres for about a day. I want to see it.

Its on the movie channels these days. I really like it. Should've been a smash hit for Ron Howard.

Yikes. Are you usually a Linklater fan? I am not, but the trailer looks really good.

I actually am not. Before Sunset is very good and Before Midnight is excellent but I attribute their success mostly to Hawke and Delpy. I found Boyhood to be a flatly directed, awkwardly assembled, poorly written and acted, thoughtless, empty celebration of the American status quo. I really can't imagine what other people are getting from it outside of simply recognizing themselves in the protagonist.

I'm not surprised you didn't like Boyhood at all as it has nothing you seem to like it movies. I thought it was pretty damn good, but we have extremely different tastes.

It got horrible reviews and it seemed like a lot of people hated it.. I thought it was pretty good, I mean, I don't know what people expected but it was exactly what I'd imagine a tmnt movie would be like..

It was a little predictable and Megan Fox was a little too hot to be April, but whatever.. I thought the turtles were neat they made shredder pretty bad ass

I just rewatched Blue is the Warmest Color and Spring Breakers for some podcast episodes I'm recording tonight.

Blue is one of the most appalling examples of filmmaking in recent memory. I hate that movie with a goddamn passion.

On the other hand, this viewing of Breakers (my fourth) made me realize that it is everything cinema should be. A masterpiece if I've ever seen one.
